We have so many fires out here
in southern California, but this
one is so early in the fire season.
The one out in Banning is contained,
as far as I've heard, and now there
is a big one in Camarillo. I grew up in
Banning, so I am familiar with
winds and dry temps. But we
have far less rain and
hotter temps every decade
that passes, and soon people
will not know how beautiful
this area was when it used
to get rain and fog. I don't like
hot and windy-it takes all those good
ions out of the air. And the wind
does NOT blow away smog, contrary to
what people think. It makes the air
quality awful.
